PhoneGap Build Workshop

If you haven’t done so yet, sign up for an Adobe ID so you can use PhoneGap Build.

What will this workshop cover?

• Ways to interact with PhoneGap Build
• Creating an app, updating an app, adding plugins
• Tools and an Efficient Dev Cycle with Build
• Signing your apps and submitting to stores
• Using the API with an Oauth Client
• tweaking manifests with the config-file element
• Anything else you want, if we can fit it in – just ask

Suggested Prerequisites

• An Adobe ID (PhoneGap Build account)
• A basic understanding of HTML, JS, and PhoneGap

• (optional) The PhoneGap CLI tool – we’ll demo remote builds with the CLI:

    npm install phonegap
    phonegap --help
  

• (optional) A QR Code Scanner App, for easy app installation. Free options for Android, iOS, and Windows 10 Mobile.
